WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO THE NEXT TEN YEARS OF OUR LIVES?
In 1994 we returned from the States, after having spent two years of training in Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Since then, we have been ministering without a pause in the context of the local Church and Agape Europe (Campus Crusade for Christ)
We spent several years leading the training of our staff in Spain and later on initiating and launching Aventura, the high school ministry, in several cities of our nation. During the past five years, we have been responsible for leading at the European level the care and development of our staff and the leadership development initiatives of Agape Europe.
God has given us a very extensive ministry in Latin America during the past ten years. We have produced a lot of materials in the areas of evangelism, discipleship and leadership development. Literally thousands of leaders have been trained and equipped as a result of our ministry in that part of the World.
Now we feel that we are facing a new decade and we need further clarity and focus from God on how to invest the coming years in such a way that we can give our best contribution to the extension of God's Kingdom.
TWO OPPORTUNITIES
Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas has a very interesting program called LEAD. The purpose is to help couples that are facing transitions in their lives and ministries and that is our case. A team of professionals makes an assessment of their gifts, talents and strengths and helps them to clarify the vision from God and the contribution to the Kingdom. We strongly feel that in this time of our lives we need this kind of external help and insight so we can maximize our work for the Kingdom.
We would complete the assessment with another week of training in Dallas in the topic of adults’ education - we want and need to improve our skills and abilities in this area. God willing, our idea is to spend around two weeks in the States.
WE NEED YOUR HELP
LEAD is a program of great quality but it is costly and beyond our possibilities. Including trips, the fee for the program and other expenses, we need to raise around 7000 dollars.
